Our project to calculate the 2020 presidential results for all 435 congressional districts nationwide hits Nebraska, where Joe Biden won an electoral vote in a seat in the Omaha area. You can find our complete data set here, which we're updating continuously as the precinct-level election returns we need for our calculations become available.
Donald Trump carried Nebraska 59-39, which was several points tighter than his 60-34 showing in 2016. However, while Trump still didn’t come anywhere close to losing a state that hasn’t backed a Democratic presidential nominee since Lyndon Johnson in 1964, he still paid a price for that decline. Nebraska, like Maine, gives an electoral vote to the winner of each of its congressional districts, and the Omaha-based 2nd District went for Joe Biden 52-46 four years after Trump won it 48-46.
